The Fast and the Furious

I'll say it plainly, as far as I'm concerned, this movie is a must-see. Sure, there's nothing HUGELY original about the plot, but I'm a sucker for movies about fast cars, I guess. If that's your thing too, though, you can't go wrong with this flick. Fast cars, hot women, souped up imports, raw American horsepower, it's one big car chase from start to finish, and yet manages to maintain your interest. It's what James Bond movies would be if Bond was a street-racer. It's 'Gone in 60 seconds' with better acting, more cars, more action, and a more complicated plotline. In fact, the only turnoff some people may have about this movie is that yes, it's highly oriented towards japanese / import racing. But so what? There's enough sweet U.S sheet metal in this movie to appease even a hard-core Mopar boy like myself. Rent it.
